Scotland’s junk
The clear-down is the deadline nobody plans for
Every event has a get-out window, and it is always shorter than anyone expects. We work to it — overnight, at dawn, or straight after the last van leaves — sorting recyclables as we load so you get diversion figures rather than one big landfill number.
- Built round your get-outOvernight and dawn clear-downs so the venue is handed back on schedule.
- Sorted as we loadCardboard, glass, cans and timber split on site for real recycling rates.
- Paperwork for the venueDuty-of-care transfer notes and diversion figures for your licence conditions.

What we take
What we'll take on your events waste management, and the few we won't
We take the lot on an events waste management job, bar the few hazardous items listed. Send a photo if in doubt.
We take
- General event waste
- Bagged rubbish
- Cardboard & packaging
- Bottles, cans & glass

- Pallets & timber
- Bulk mixed recycling

Anything on the “cannot take” list needs a licensed specialist — ask us and we will point you the right way.
Who this is for
Events Waste Management for every situation
For commercial clients
What you need on file before we quote your events waste management
Everything a main contractor, facilities manager or surveyor asks for, answered before you have to ask.
RAMS before we start
Risk assessments and method statements issued for every commercial job, written for the actual site rather than a template. Send us your pre-construction information and we will work to it.
Insurance you can verify
Public liability and employer's liability cover in place, with certificates supplied on request before works begin. If your framework needs a specific limit, ask us and we will confirm in writing.
CDM-aware on site
On notifiable projects we work under the principal contractor's arrangements — site induction, permits to work, and our operatives sequenced into your programme rather than turning up unannounced.
Out of hours as standard
Evenings, nights and weekends at no premium on planned work, so a live building keeps trading and a site keeps moving. Phased floor-by-floor handover where you need it.
Diversion figures you can report
Waste segregated by stream and a diversion-from-landfill figure supplied per project, which is what BREEAM assessors and ESG reporting ask for. Over 80% diverted across our work.
The paperwork, every load
A duty-of-care waste transfer note for every single uplift under SEPA registration WCR/R/3002381, filed and reissued on request. Consignment support where a licensed specialist handles the hazardous side.
Before any refurbishment or demolition work, a refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey is the duty holder's legal responsibility under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. We do not disturb asbestos — where a survey identifies it, a licensed contractor removes it before we begin.

About this service
Event waste management in Scotland, on schedule
Event waste arrives all at once and has to be gone almost immediately. A festival that ran for three days generates its entire waste stream in seventy-two hours and then hands the site back on the Monday; a wedding venue needs the marquee field clear before the next booking. We plan around that get-out window rather than around our own diary, which usually means working overnight, at dawn, or in rolling uplifts across a multi-day run.
Volume is only half the problem — the other half is composition. Event waste is unusually recyclable: cardboard, glass, cans, timber and pallets make up a large share of it, and separated on site they recycle at a far better rate than they would jumbled into one skip. We sort as we load and can supply diversion figures alongside the duty-of-care transfer note, which matters because many licences and venue contracts now require a waste plan and evidence of what happened to it. Everything runs under our SEPA carrier registration (WCR/R/3002381).

Yes. Duty-of-care waste transfer notes as standard, and recycling diversion figures on request — which is what most venue contracts and event licences ask for.
Yes. We run rolling uplifts through the event and a full clear-down at the end, rather than leaving everything to the last morning.
Yes. Cardboard, glass, cans, timber and pallets are a large share of event waste and separating them on site gives a much better recycling rate than a single mixed skip.
