Confidential Waste & IT Disposal in Scotland
Old personnel files, archived client records and cupboards of redundant laptops and drives — collected securely by our own vetted crews, destroyed through licensed facilities, and recycled under WEEE (anything with a plug or a battery) with the paperwork to close the loop.

Scotland’s junk
Records and data-bearing kit, gone properly
Under UK GDPR the responsibility for a filing cabinet of client records does not transfer to whoever carries it out of your building. It stays with you until it is destroyed. We collect confidential paper and data-bearing IT with our own uniformed crews rather than agency labour, keep the load sealed in transit, and route it through licensed destruction and WEEE recycling.
- Our own vetted crewsNo agency labour handling your records — the same crews every time.
- Chain of custodySealed in transit and documented from your door to destruction.
- WEEE recycledData-bearing kit destroyed, then the materials recovered under WEEE.

Who this is for
Confidential Waste Disposal for every situation
For commercial clients
What you need on file before we quote your confidential waste disposal
Everything a main contractor, facilities manager or surveyor asks for, answered before you have to ask.
RAMS before we start
Risk assessments and method statements issued for every commercial job, written for the actual site rather than a template. Send us your pre-construction information and we will work to it.
Insurance you can verify
Public liability and employer's liability cover in place, with certificates supplied on request before works begin. If your framework needs a specific limit, ask us and we will confirm in writing.
CDM-aware on site
On notifiable projects we work under the principal contractor's arrangements — site induction, permits to work, and our operatives sequenced into your programme rather than turning up unannounced.
Out of hours as standard
Evenings, nights and weekends at no premium on planned work, so a live building keeps trading and a site keeps moving. Phased floor-by-floor handover where you need it.
Diversion figures you can report
Waste segregated by stream and a diversion-from-landfill figure supplied per project, which is what BREEAM assessors and ESG reporting ask for. Over 80% diverted across our work.
The paperwork, every load
A duty-of-care waste transfer note for every single uplift under SEPA registration WCR/R/3002381, filed and reissued on request. Consignment support where a licensed specialist handles the hazardous side.
Before any refurbishment or demolition work, a refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey is the duty holder's legal responsibility under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. We do not disturb asbestos — where a survey identifies it, a licensed contractor removes it before we begin.

About this service
Why confidential waste is a data question, not a rubbish question
The moment a filing cabinet holds names, addresses, salaries or health details, getting rid of it stops being a waste job and becomes a data protection one. UK GDPR makes you the controller of that information until it is genuinely destroyed, and the Information Commissioner has fined organisations for records found intact in skips. A general waste uplift with no chain of custody does not discharge that duty.
Our confidential uplifts are handled by our own uniformed, vetted crews, kept sealed in transit, and routed through licensed destruction. Data-bearing IT is destroyed before the materials are recovered under WEEE regulations, and you get the transfer notes and destruction confirmation to file alongside your retention policy.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Yes — destruction is arranged through licensed facilities and confirmation is sent to you along with the waste transfer note, so your retention file is complete.
Our own uniformed, vetted crews. We do not put confidential loads in the hands of agency labour, and the load stays sealed from your premises to the destruction facility.
Data-bearing media is destroyed rather than wiped and resold, then the materials are recovered under WEEE regulations. Tell us the drive count when you book.
No. We handle non-clinical administrative records only. Anything clinical needs a specialist contractor with the appropriate licence.
From £100 + VAT, priced by volume like our other services. Tell us roughly how many cabinets or IT items and we will fix the price.
