Commercial Waste Collection Across Scotland
Dumpit Scotland collects trade and commercial waste on a day that suits your business — weekly, fortnightly or whenever you fill up. No wheelie bins to rent, no three-year contract, and a duty-of-care note after every single uplift.

Scotland’s junk
Trade waste, collected on your schedule
Most commercial waste contracts tie you into bin hire you did not ask for and a rolling term you cannot get out of. We do it the other way round: you tell us roughly what you produce and how often, we agree a slot, and our crew loads it from wherever it is stored. You pay for the volume we take, and nothing else.
- A slot that suits youWeekly, fortnightly, monthly or purely on demand.
- No bins to rentNothing standing in your yard costing you money between uplifts.
- Paperwork every timeA waste transfer note after each collection, kept on file for you.

What we take
What we'll take on your commercial waste collection, and the few we won't
If it's not on the no-list, our commercial waste collection crews will almost certainly take it. Not sure? Send a photo.
We take
- General commercial waste
- Cardboard & packaging
- Office paper & files
- Shop & stock waste
- Pallets & timber
- Plastic wrap & strapping
- Broken furniture & fittings
- Redundant IT & electricals
- Trade offcuts & scrap
- Bagged waste from bin stores
We cannot take
- Asbestos
- Gas bottles & cylinders
- Wet paint & solvents in bulk
- Clinical or hazardous waste
- Car batteries & tyres
Anything on the “cannot take” list needs a licensed specialist — ask us and we will point you the right way.
Who this is for
Commercial Waste Collection for every situation
For commercial clients
What you need on file before we quote your commercial waste collection
Everything a main contractor, facilities manager or surveyor asks for, answered before you have to ask.
RAMS before we start
Risk assessments and method statements issued for every commercial job, written for the actual site rather than a template. Send us your pre-construction information and we will work to it.
Insurance you can verify
Public liability and employer's liability cover in place, with certificates supplied on request before works begin. If your framework needs a specific limit, ask us and we will confirm in writing.
CDM-aware on site
On notifiable projects we work under the principal contractor's arrangements — site induction, permits to work, and our operatives sequenced into your programme rather than turning up unannounced.
Out of hours as standard
Evenings, nights and weekends at no premium on planned work, so a live building keeps trading and a site keeps moving. Phased floor-by-floor handover where you need it.
Diversion figures you can report
Waste segregated by stream and a diversion-from-landfill figure supplied per project, which is what BREEAM assessors and ESG reporting ask for. Over 80% diverted across our work.
The paperwork, every load
A duty-of-care waste transfer note for every single uplift under SEPA registration WCR/R/3002381, filed and reissued on request. Consignment support where a licensed specialist handles the hazardous side.
Before any refurbishment or demolition work, a refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey is the duty holder's legal responsibility under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. We do not disturb asbestos — where a survey identifies it, a licensed contractor removes it before we begin.

About this service
How commercial waste collection actually works in Scotland
If you run a business in Scotland you have a legal duty of care (your legal responsibility for waste you produce) over your waste from the moment you create it until it reaches a licensed facility. That duty does not end when someone drives it away — it ends when you can show, on paper, who took it and where it went. Every uplift we do comes with a waste transfer note carrying our SEPA carrier registration, WCR/R/3002381, so your file is complete without you chasing anybody.
We are deliberately not a bin-hire company. There is no container rental on your invoice, no minimum term and no automatic renewal. You are charged by the volume we actually take, at the same honest load prices we quote everyone, and you can change your frequency or stop entirely with a phone call.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Baled cardboard and baled plastic film are easier for us and worth more at the reprocessor, so a business that bales usually pays less per tonne than one presenting loose card. If you are producing enough volume to be considering a baler, ask us and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it at your volumes.
No. That is the main difference between us and a standard trade waste contract — we bring the lorry, load from wherever your waste is stored and take it away. Nothing is left on site costing you rental.
No minimum term and no automatic renewal. Book a regular slot and change or cancel it whenever your business needs change.
A waste transfer note for every collection, showing our SEPA carrier registration WCR/R/3002381 and where the waste went. That is the document an inspector or auditor asks for.
Yes — early mornings, evenings and weekends are normal for us, so collections happen when your shop or office is closed.
From £100 + VAT per uplift, priced by the volume we take. Send a photo of your waste store and we will give you a fixed rate per collection.
