Care Home Clearance Across Scotland
Care homes, sheltered housing and supported accommodation cleared across Scotland — rooms, lounges, furniture and mobility equipment — worked quietly around residents by crews who understand where they are and behave accordingly.

Scotland’s junk
Quiet, respectful, out of the way
A care home is somebody's home, not a building site. Our crews keep the noise down, keep corridors and fire routes clear, and work in the windows the manager gives us rather than whenever suits the lorry. Rooms are cleared with the discretion the situation deserves, particularly when a resident has passed away and the family are still on site.
- Discreet crewsQuiet, uniformed and briefed on where they are working.
- Your windowsWe work the hours the home sets, not the other way round.
- Equipment re-homedServiceable furniture and aids passed on where we can.

Who this is for
Care Home Clearance for every situation
For commercial clients
What you need on file before we quote your care home clearance
Everything a main contractor, facilities manager or surveyor asks for, answered before you have to ask.
RAMS before we start
Risk assessments and method statements issued for every commercial job, written for the actual site rather than a template. Send us your pre-construction information and we will work to it.
Insurance you can verify
Public liability and employer's liability cover in place, with certificates supplied on request before works begin. If your framework needs a specific limit, ask us and we will confirm in writing.
CDM-aware on site
On notifiable projects we work under the principal contractor's arrangements — site induction, permits to work, and our operatives sequenced into your programme rather than turning up unannounced.
Out of hours as standard
Evenings, nights and weekends at no premium on planned work, so a live building keeps trading and a site keeps moving. Phased floor-by-floor handover where you need it.
Diversion figures you can report
Waste segregated by stream and a diversion-from-landfill figure supplied per project, which is what BREEAM assessors and ESG reporting ask for. Over 80% diverted across our work.
The paperwork, every load
A duty-of-care waste transfer note for every single uplift under SEPA registration WCR/R/3002381, filed and reissued on request. Consignment support where a licensed specialist handles the hazardous side.
Before any refurbishment or demolition work, a refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey is the duty holder's legal responsibility under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. We do not disturb asbestos — where a survey identifies it, a licensed contractor removes it before we begin.

About this service
Non-clinical only, and why we are clear about that
We clear the furniture, equipment and general waste side of a care home: beds, mattresses, profiling beds, wardrobes, lounge seating, hoists, wheelchairs and mobility aids, and the electricals that go with them. Mobility equipment in serviceable condition is offered on to charities and re-use schemes rather than scrapped, which is often the part families and managers care most about.
What we are not is a healthcare waste contractor. Clinical waste, sharps, medication and continence products are controlled streams that need a licensed healthcare waste provider and their own consignment paperwork — a general waste carrier taking them would be breaking the rules, so we do not. Telling you that before we quote saves everybody a wasted visit.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
No. Clinical waste, sharps, medication and continence products need a licensed healthcare waste contractor. We handle the furniture, equipment and general non-clinical waste alongside them.
Yes, and we plan for it. Crews are briefed, kept quiet, keep fire routes clear and work in the windows the home manager gives us.
Hoists, wheelchairs, frames and riser-recliners in serviceable condition are offered to charities and re-use schemes wherever possible rather than scrapped.
Yes, and gently. We are used to working while families are still on site, and we will take direction on what is being kept.
A single room from £100 + VAT; larger phases priced by volume. Send photos or a room count for a fixed price.
